Vertu Motors Dials Up Barbuck Deal
Vertu Motors plc has extended its strategic partnership with call tracking supplier Barbuck, a collaboration that has been thriving since 2016, with the signing of a new two-year contract.
Barbuck supplies Vertu with its advanced call tracking solution ‘Calltracks’ enabling the UK’s third largest automotive retailer to gain valuable insights by understanding its customers omnichannel journey leading to call enquiries. The latest contract will see new technical developments implemented, which will enhance marketing, sales and operational processes.
Barbuck’s systems are integrated into Vertu’s Gateshead contact centre, where it handles calls for all its businesses, which include key brands within the automotive sector, such as Bristol Street Motors, Macklin Motors, The Taxi Centre and Vansdirect.
The technology not only measures phone call engagement, but also centralises the information it produces alongside other business intelligence, removing data and reporting silos. This allows the company to understand which marketing generates the right kind of phone call, measured from source to sale.
By leveraging Barbuck’s technology, Vertu can more accurately track and analyse its combined data sets, leading to improved customer service, increased opportunities and more informed business decisions.
