Vertu Motors And Nottinghamshire Aim To Build On Successful Partnership In 2024
Vertu Motors and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club are poised to pursue another season of success together as their partnership extends into 2024.
Vertu Motors, a premium automotive retail brand with dealerships up and down the country, first joined forces with Nottinghamshire ahead of their 2022 season, where the famous Club stormed to the Division Two title.
Returning to the pinnacle of domestic cricket last year, Nottinghamshire consolidated their position in Division One with Brett Hutton topping the charts for most wickets for any county across the season, taking 62 at an average of just 21.40.
Nottinghamshire also made it to the quarter-final stage of the Vitality Blast for the seventh time in the last eight seasons, before a narrow loss to eventual winners Somerset – another County Cricket partner of the Vertu Motors brand.
As an Official Partner of Nottinghamshire’s, Vertu Motors has benefitted from pitch side branding and various digital opportunities at the famous Trent Bridge ground, whilst Vertu Motors branding has featured on playing kit across the various different formats of the game.
With a number of dealerships across the East Midlands region – including those representing Volkswagen, Kia, Honda and Honda Motorcycles in Nottingham itself – Vertu Motors will seek to continue its work with the Club in showcasing a range of local community programmes, whilst also boosting engagement in the sport.
In partnership with the Club’s Trent Bridge Community Trust and their Forget Me Notts initiative, Vertu Motors treated carers to an afternoon tea, in a show of support for those impacted by dementia within the local community.
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, said: “Nottinghamshire is one of the most famous names in the County Championship and we are delighted to be able to continue our partnership with the Club into the 2024 season.
“We have enjoyed sharing the success that the Club has enjoyed on the field in recent years but more than that, have embraced the opportunity to work with them on a range of programmes to benefit the local community. We look forward to sharing more success, both on and off the field, during the year ahead.”
Michael Temple, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Commercial Director, added: “We feel extremely privileged to continue our partnership with Vertu Motors who have proved to be committed, active and determined in their support of our Club and our celebrated community initiatives.
“We feel that our values align perfectly, particularly when it comes to providing exceptional customer service, and we look forward to working together long into the future.”
