Bristol Street Motors – an automotive retail brand part of the wider Vertu group – has rebranded to Vertu, signifying an exciting new chapter for its many dealerships across the country.
The consolidation of Bristol Street Motors with the Group’s wider network of Vertu dealerships marks a new phase in the development of the automotive retailer.
Vertu is one of the UK’s largest motor retailers, with more than 200 dealerships spread nationwide - from Dunfermline down to Truro - representing over 30 of the world’s leading manufacturers. Vertu Motors plc was established in November 2006 with the strategy to consolidate the UK motor retail sector.
With Vertu, customers nationwide can expect a new name above the door, but the same friendly faces, expert advice, and exceptional service that they’ve come to know and trust. Macklin Motors in Scotland, also part of the Vertu group, was rebranded to Vertu in February 2025 with a large-scale Community Food Drive across the Central Belt.
Celebrating their commitment to community, Vertu held Scotland’s biggest synchronised food donation drive to support several local food banks, and following on from this, successfully distributed 50,000 food collection bags to newspaper readers in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dunfermline and beyond. Vertu is committed to supporting the communities that it shares with its dealerships.
